Eligibility/Qualification:
- Recently awarded (<2 years) PhD or soon-to-be submitted thesis in relevant fields (epigenetics, chromatin biology, stem cell biology, bioinformatics, cancer cell biology)
- Strong motivation and potential to drive own research project
- Excellent academic track record with publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Desirable: Strong foundations in stem cell biology and/or bioinformatics, organizational skills, student supervision experience, independent fellowships or research awards
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Eckersley-Maslin laboratory, you will:
- Lead and develop a research project aligned with the lab’s themes
- Study the dynamics and regulation of epigenetic plasticity in development and cancer models
- Collaborate with a diverse team and external collaborators
- Design, conduct, and analyze experiments with technical precision
- Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
- Foster strong working relationships within the lab and research community
- Assist in administrative and management functions of the lab, including student supervision
