Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: PhD degree in electronic engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional Experience:
- Good publication record.
- Experience in thin film and/or solar cell fabrication by solution processing methods.
- Personal Competences:
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in interpreting complex data.
- Excellent organization skills and time management abilities.
- Proficient in written and oral communication in English.
Job Description
General Objective: Synthesis, Fabrication, and Characterization of Pb-Free Halide Perovskites, Photovoltaics, and Memristors.
Specific Objectives:
- Synthesize Pb-free halide perovskites.
- Synthesize, delaminate, and functionalize MXenes.
- Develop novel sustainable ink formulations using Pb-free halide perovskites, semiconductor oxides, and 2D materials.
- Fabricate and characterize complete perovskite solar cells and memristors.
- Develop a methodology for the characterization of chromo-memristors.
Key Tasks:
- Synthesize and functionalize materials, especially Pb-free Metal Halide Perovskites (MHPs).
- Fabricate functionalized Pb-free MHPs through solution processing methods.
- Conduct stability analysis of materials and devices following ISOS protocols.
- Prepare periodic reports and scientific manuscripts showcasing research results.
- Engage in proposal writing for future funding opportunities.
