Postdoctoral Researcher – First-row Transition Metal Redox Catalysis: The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is inviting applications for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in the research area of first-row transition metal redox catalysis. This position is connected with Prof. Mónica H. Pérez-Temprano and her well-known group. They focus on using mechanisms as a tool to design innovative and sustainable transformations with first-row transition metals.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and developing novel first-row transition metal redox catalysis.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or about to submit doctoral thesis prior to the application deadline.
- Strong background in synthetic and organometallic chemistry.
- Experience in mechanistic investigations and/or kinetic studies.
- Proficiency in air-sensitive techniques and general analytical tools.
- Highly motivated, creative, and capable of working autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with peers.
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Reliable in meeting commitments and deadlines.
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Researcher, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Synthesis and characterization of organometallic complexes and organic molecules.
- Conducting mechanistic studies using a broad array of analytic techniques.
- Writing lab reports and drafting manuscripts for scientific articles.
- Mentoring Ph.D. students in the research group.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Attending national and international conferences to present research results.
