Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Particle Physics, Computing, AI Research, Mathematics, or a related field.

Job Description:

The role involves:

  • Developing carbon accounting mechanisms for AI.
  • Estimating uncertainties in AI models and implementing tools for improving professional footprints.
  • Collaborating with partners at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg and Berlin-Zeuthen.
  • Conducting research that contributes to pathways for mitigating climate challenges.
