Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Particle Physics, Computing, AI Research, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A strong ability to engage in interdisciplinary research and a willingness to explore new topics is expected.
Job Description:
The role involves:
- Developing carbon accounting mechanisms for AI.
- Estimating uncertainties in AI models and implementing tools for improving professional footprints.
- Collaborating with partners at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg and Berlin-Zeuthen.
- Conducting research that contributes to pathways for mitigating climate challenges.
