Postdoctoral Researcher (Full-time) Position: The Department of Physics at the Universidad de los Andes invites applications for a research position focusing on the thermodynamics and statistical mechanics of complex fluids. Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Physics, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Strong background in thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and molecular simulations.
- Experience with molecular dynamics or Monte Carlo simulations, ideally in fluid systems.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct theoretical and simulation studies of complex fluids.
- Work in collaboration with an international team including Imperial College London.
- Contribute to scientific publications and potentially co-supervise students.
- Help in the development and application of new theoretical models and simulation tools.
