Postdoctoral Researcher – Functional Genomics of Plant-Parasitic Nematodes
The successful candidate will:
- Investigate the initiation and development of feeding sites induced by plant-parasitic nematodes.
- Utilize spatial transcriptomics and single-cell mRNA sequencing for mechanistic insights.
- Identify critical steps in feeding site formation to develop strategies against nematode infections.
- Work collaboratively within an innovative, interdisciplinary project.
Terms of Employment:
- Minimum salary: €3,226 per month
- Maximum salary: €5,090 per month (scale 10 cao Nederlandse Universiteiten/KNAW)
- Exclusive of 8% vacation allowance, 8.3% year-end bonus, travel allowance, internet allowance, home working allowance, and pension accrual with ABP.
