Eligibility/Qualification
- Essential Criteria:
- PhD (or equivalent) in Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, or related disciplines
- Background in immunology, diabetes, and/or metabolic disease research; bioinformatics, and/or data science
- Experience working with human samples and data
- Strong interest in immunity, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes research
- Excellent organisational skills, autonomy, and ability to work in a collaborative team
- Proficient in English (writing and communication)
- Desirable Criteria:
- Track record of high-impact publications
- Proficiency in R and/or Python
- Writing and communication skills in French
Job Description
The postdoctoral candidate will focus on deep immunophenotyping of biological samples from individuals living with T1D, exploring immunological correlates of cardiovascular risk. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting advanced cellular and molecular biology analyses
- Analyzing sequencing (snRNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq) and proteomic data
- Collaborating with clinicians and epidemiologists for comprehensive analysis and interpretation
- Preparing scientific manuscripts for publication and presenting findings at national and international conferences
- Participating in strategic planning and dissemination activities with project partners
