Postdoctoral Researcher in Agrobiodiversity, UAB Campus, Spain

Postdoc in Spain

Postdoctoral Researcher in Agrobiodiversity: The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Rosaceae Genetics and Genomics group. This position involves studying leaf microbiome communities in an apple collection across six European locations. The research aims to analyze bioinformatics and genomic data, identify stress resilience attributes, and contribute to predictive models for breeding resilient varieties. The successful candidate will work within the framework of the project “APPLEBIOME: Microbiome and genomic analysis in apple germplasm towards broadening genetic resources to breed for resilient varieties.”

Postdoctoral Researcher in Agrobiodiversity and Plant Microbiome Research (REF. 19/2024)
