Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead an independent research project focusing on integrating bioinformatic workflows, evaluating enzyme function, and developing a cell-free synthesis platform for oxygen-labile multi-subunit enzymes.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to teaching and supervision activities within the group.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Recently obtained PhD (within 5 years) in bioengineering, synthetic biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Strong publication record or clear evidence of high-quality research output.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in competitive research projects.
  • Essential Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
    • High-throughput enzyme prototyping platforms.
    • Engineering and activity characterization of oxygen-sensitive enzymes.
