Eligibility/Qualification
- Must Have:
- Ph.D. in analytical, environmental, or food chemistry, or a closely related discipline
- Experience in non-target screening or metabolomics of environmental contaminants
- Familiarity with quality assurance/control (QA/QC) of chemical analyses
- Comfortable with method development in a trace-level laboratory
- Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with PFAS target analysis
- Knowledge of complex data scientific approaches
- Experience in analyzing multiple matrices
- Familiarity with research communication to various audiences
- Proficiency in a Nordic language
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will:
- Engage in method development within sample preparation, instrumental, data analysis, and quality assurance for environmental and food monitoring of PFAS.
- Contribute to the research of the Danish PFAS Research Centre and collaborate within the research group on analytical chemistry projects.
- Actively publish research findings and present results at conferences and to regulatory bodies.
- Supervise students or guest researchers as needed.
