Postdoctoral Researcher in Axon Regeneration, Marseille Developmental Biology Institute (IBDM), France

Study in Sweden

Postdoctoral Researcher in Axon Regeneration: The Marseille Developmental Biology Institute (IBDM), France, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to investigate the molecular mechanisms of axon regeneration. The position is within the newly established research team “Local Translation in Axon Regeneration”, led by Dr. Julia Schaeffer. This is a 12-month postdoctoral position, funded by ATIP-Avenir, starting in the first half of 2026, with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will focus on live imaging approaches to study local mRNA translation dynamics in regenerating axons using optimized ex vivo models.
