Eligibility/Qualification

  • A thesis-based doctorate in bacteriophage biology, preferably in the domain of depolymerases.
  • Expertise in cloning, recombinant production, and purification of enzymes.
  • Proven skills in bacteriophage microbiology (e.g., propagation, plaquing, adsorption assays).
  • Experience in phage engineering and evolution.
  • A publication record in the relevant field and active contributions to conferences.

Job Description

  • Conduct research on the production, analysis, and characterization of Klebsiella pneumoniae depolymerases.
  • Study jumbo phages and their associated receptor-binding proteins.
  • Engage in activities related to microbiology, synthetic biology, and evolutionary studies.
