Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD (or near completion) in organic chemistry, chemical biology, protein engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic molecules.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies relevant to metallomics.
  • Proficiency in deploying fluorescent proteins is highly regarded.
  • Experience in biological studies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to conduct research/scholarly activities either independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Proficient in: NMR, IR, MS, UV-vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
  • Published research as sole author or in collaboration.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research in metallomics and chemical biology.
  • Preparing responsive fluorescent sensors for biological applications.
  • Publishing research papers and demonstrating research excellence.
  • Assisting with grant writing and publishing original work.
  • Supporting teaching activities and supervising students.
