Eligibility/Qualification

Required:

  1. Ph.D. degree in organometallic chemistry (main group or transition metal) or organic chemistry (total synthesis, organic material synthesis, synthetic methodologies).
  2. Experience in organic synthesis during Ph.D. study.
  3. Ability to plan and conduct independent research.
  4. Cooperation skills with lab members and Principal Investigator (PI).

Preferred:

  1. Experience in organometallic chemistry.
  2. Strong background in organic synthesis.
  3. Experience in theoretical chemical calculations.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for:

  • Synthesizing organometallic compounds using glovebox and Schlenk line techniques.
  • Performing organic synthesis for ligands and substrates.
  • Analyzing compounds and reactions using NMR, SCXRD, GC, GCMS, EPR, etc.
  • Conducting high-pressure reactions (up to 10 bar) using pressure reactors.
  • Engaging in electrochemistry and photochemistry of organometallic complexes.
  • Performing theoretical chemical calculations.
