Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry or Biomaterials Engineering
- Experience in synthetic organic chemistry
- Proficient in analytical chemistry techniques (NMR, MS, chromatography, UV-Vis)
- Familiarity with photochemistry, photocrosslinking, or photophysical characterization is preferred
- Experience in sol-gel chemistry and/or 3D printing is appreciated
- Strong interest in writing scientific publications and presenting at conferences
Job Description:
This role involves:
- Synthesis and purification of photoactivatable precursors
- Characterization using NMR, LC/MS, and UV-Vis
- Conducting stability and photoreactivity studies
- Preparing crosslinked hydrogels
- Developing inks for Digital Light Processing (DLP) printing
- 3D printing of scaffolds using newly developed crosslinking chemistry
