Postdoctoral Researcher in Chromatin Dynamics: The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Researcher to explore the dynamics of chromatin within the mammalian retina, contributing to our understanding of genomic functions related to transcription and DNA repair. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • In-depth experience in chromatin biology, gene regulation, and genomics/microscopy.
  • Experience in designing and performing animal experiments is advantageous.
  • Leadership skills for directing and designing projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).

Job Description:
The successful candidate will investigate the dynamic behavior of chromatin and its role in essential genomic functions. This research will involve mapping chromatin dynamics by combining single-cell genomics with single molecule imaging, in collaboration with leading labs such as Anders Lab (MIT) and Michieletto Lab (University of Edinburgh). The candidate will actively participate in an interdisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
