Eligibility/Qualification
- Excellent Master’s degree followed by a PhD in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Computational Engineering
- Computational Mathematics
- Data Sciences/Analysis
- System or Process Engineering
- Related Fields
- Proficient in API programming and automation engineering (LabVIEW and/or EPICS)
- Comprehensive knowledge of data science, analysis, management, and machine learning
- Advanced programming skills in Python
- Experience with data-driven machine learning (e.g., SINDy, LASSO, SISSO)
- Basic knowledge of electrochemistry is desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in English (at least B2 level CEFR); German language skills are a plus
Job Description
At IET-1, you will:
- Develop APIs for electrolysis systems and analysis devices
- Implement autonomous process control for electrolysis
- Conceptualize and build degradation models for electrolysis units
- Study the performance and degradation of electrolysis under various operating modes
