Location: Worcester, MA

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Genomics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Background knowledge in epigenetic mechanisms, gene regulation, and genomic technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of scientific productivity with publications in reputable journals.
  • Experience in analyzing high-throughput sequencing data (Hi-C, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, WGBS).
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant data science packages.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, including transformer models and LLMs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Interest in contributing to open-source projects.

Job Description:

  • Conduct independent research in structural and functional genomics.
  • Develop and apply computational approaches for large-scale omic dataset integration and analysis.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for data integration, visualization, and interpretation.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the group in open-source communities.
  • Publish research findings and present work at conferences.
  • Assist in mentoring and supervising graduate students and junior lab members.
