Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Genomics and Machine Learning

Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area: Computational Genomics and Machine Learning

Location: University of Helsinki, Finland (FIMM), with regular visits to University of Oslo, Norway (NCMM)

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in a relevant field
  • Strong skills and experience in computational genomics and machine learning
  • Familiarity with NaNOME-seq, ATAC-seq, and RNA-seq data analysis is preferred
  • Demonstrated publication record in a relevant field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Job Description: The selected candidate will analyze NaNOME-seq, ATAC-seq, and RNA-seq data to model gene regulatory logic in epithelial cells. Additionally, they will explore the effects of DNA adducts on methylome, transcriptome, and gene regulatory logic. The position involves collaboration between research groups, requiring travel between FIMM and NCMM to conduct research and foster synergies.
