Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree or expected to obtain one by arrival.
- Familiarity with condensed matter physics/material science, particularly in magnetism.
- Working knowledge of programming skills for simulations is required.
Job Description:
- Conduct research on the static and dynamical properties of phase transitions involving magnetism, elasticity, dielectricity, etc.
- Apply and develop computational methods including:
- Classical and quantum Monte Carlo simulations
- Molecular dynamics
- Master equation approaches
- Responsibilities may shift within the scope of the position.
Employment Terms:
- Starting Date: February 2026 or later (negotiable)
- Term: One year, with potential renewal based on performance and budget situation (maximum until June 30, 2027, extendable up to two years).
- Work Hours: 7 hours 45 minutes per day, 5 days a week (or deemed working hours of 8 hours 15 minutes per day under discretionary labor).
- Salary: Monthly salary between 317,570 yen to 410,460 yen, determined according to salary regulations for fixed-term employees.
