Postdoctoral Researcher in User-Centric Data Science for Smart Building Knowledge Graphs

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in IoT, data science, or applied Machine Learning.
- Interest in applied science for smart buildings and IoT.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills, initiative-taking ability, and a keen interest in multidisciplinary teamwork.
Job Description: The successful candidate will conduct research focusing on user-centric data science for smart building knowledge graphs. This involves collaborating with VU researchers and Dutch partners within the EU HEDGE-IoT project, particularly in the context of the Dutch pilot. Duties include developing interoperability solutions for IoT knowledge graphs, designing user-centric services such as Explainable Machine Learning and data visualization, and contributing to project deliverables and educational activities within the computer science department.
