Eligibility/Qualification:

Required:

  • A doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree (to be completed by the time of employment decision)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Relevant published work in fluid mechanics

  • Doctoral degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science (specializing in data-driven/computational methods)

Job Description:

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

  • Contribute to the EU project ROSAS, focusing on developing wall models for turbulent flow simulations using deep reinforcement learning.
  • Collaborate with the VinuesaLab research group and participate in related projects concerning large-scale turbulence simulations and experimental work.
  • Access multipetaflops scale supercomputing facilities at KTH in collaboration with the Swedish e-Science Research Centre (SeRC).
  • Engage in a dynamic research environment at KTH, contributing to a sustainable future through innovative solutions.
