Postdoctoral Researcher in Energy Materials: The Chair of Atomic-scale Characterisation at the Institute of Materials, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/x) with expertise in cryogenic atom probe characterization of energy materials. The position is for a duration of 2 years, full-time (39.83 hours per week), under the European Research Council (ERC) consolidator project ‘INTERACT’.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in materials science, chemistry, or physics
- Extensive experience in cryogenic atom probe sample preparation and measurements
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable in multicultural environments
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in electrochemical measurements
- Fluency in German (at least C1 level)
Job Description:
- Develop new cryogenic atom probe sample preparation protocols
- Innovate correlative methods and cryogenic workflows
- Assist in atom probe and microscopy measurements
- Potential teaching responsibilities if fluent in German
