Eligibility/Qualification:
- Earned doctorate in Engineering Education, Education, Social Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution (ABD candidates may be considered but must complete doctorate by appointment date).
- Evidence of research experience in engineering or STEM education at the post-secondary level.
- Relevant scholarly publications in Engineering Education or related fields.
- Positive, adventurous, and open-minded attitude.
- Record of independent research, publications, and conference presentations.
- Ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
Job Description:
- Full-time, exempt position; Monday – Friday, hours to be determined.
- Work with the research team to develop and implement Action Research Teaching (ART) Fellows Faculty Learning Community and the Department Chairs and Coordinators Learning Community.
- Institutionalize equitable and student-focused faculty development practices at Cal State LA.
- Collaborate on designing survey instruments, administering surveys, and analyzing data using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Oversee communication and collaboration with survey administration sites to ensure ethical and efficient research practices.
- Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed presentations, journal articles, and conference proceedings.
