Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Molecular Biology and/or Biochemistry
- In-depth knowledge of organismal immunity
- General understanding of evolution
- Demonstrable experience in molecular biology/microbiology
Job Description
As a key member of the Carella Group, you will:
- Conduct molecular dissections of lineage-specific immune receptors/modules.
- Engage in synthetic biology approaches to engineer novel immune mechanisms in plants.
- Gain experience with a wide range of plant pathogenic microbes.
This role will facilitate your development in the emerging field of Evo-MPMI, working alongside world-leading scientists in a stimulating research environment.
