Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Molecular Biology and/or Biochemistry
  • In-depth knowledge of organismal immunity
  • General understanding of evolution
  • Demonstrable experience in molecular biology/microbiology

Job Description

As a key member of the Carella Group, you will:

  • Conduct molecular dissections of lineage-specific immune receptors/modules.
  • Engage in synthetic biology approaches to engineer novel immune mechanisms in plants.
  • Gain experience with a wide range of plant pathogenic microbes.

This role will facilitate your development in the emerging field of Evo-MPMI, working alongside world-leading scientists in a stimulating research environment.
