Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality experimental microbiology/mycology research.
- Characterize antifungal resistance, ploidy, and drug concentrations.
- Perform drug-resistance evolution experiments across species diversity.
- Conduct phenotypic and genotypic profiling of evolved Candida strains.
- Quantify the composition of evolving Candida communities using machine learning models.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in high-impact journals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in biological sciences or related field.
- Demonstrated research productivity.
- Experience with pathogenic yeasts, drug susceptibility testing, and microbiology techniques.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Candida yeasts.
- Familiarity with machine learning.
- Experience in supervising students.
