Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree in physics, engineering, photonics, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in optics, laser spectroscopy, and signal processing techniques.
- Experience with lasers and/or spectroscopy and programming (Matlab, LabView, Python).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a passion for experimental work and mentoring.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Design and develop a field-deployable spectrometer for gas measurements.
- Utilize coherent open-path spectroscopy (COPS) for field measurements.
- Supervise and guide PhD candidates involved in the research.
- Coordinate research efforts with Dutch project partners.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings in the field of environmental monitoring and chemical exposure assessment.
