Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: A recent Ph.D. degree in life sciences. The degree must be completed by the application closing date and obtained no more than 10 years ago.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with animal work is preferred. Solid knowledge and working experience in cell or molecular biology, and immunology.
- Key Merits: Demonstrated experience in writing scientific publications, potential for acquiring supplementary funding, and teaching experience.
- Skills: Fluent oral and written English, IT skills, bioinformatics, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Description
- Investigate the role of helper T lymphocytes in inflammation and tumorigenesis using in vitro assays and in vivo disease models.
- Apply cutting-edge systems biology approaches, including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, proteomics, and single-cell omics.
- Supervise scientific research of BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. students as part of a multidisciplinary research group.
- Participate in teaching within the faculty curriculum and assist in acquiring research funding.
