Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field (or submission of thesis before the start date).
  • Experience with the growth of two-dimensional materials, Raman spectroscopy, and synchrotron X-ray-based techniques is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills for supervising junior researchers and collaborative work in a consortium.

Job Description

The position involves the growth of two-dimensional materials via chemical vapor deposition and their characterization using operando optical microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Additionally, synchrotron X-ray-based techniques will be utilized at the ESRF in Grenoble. The candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior researchers and engaging in collaborative efforts across various research institutes.
