Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Strong Ph.D. training in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, or bacteriology.
  • First-author publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Highly self-motivated with a desire to conduct original research and develop an independent research vision.

Job Description:

  • Conduct original research to address challenging biological questions related to Salmonella Typhimurium.
  • Develop and “own” research projects with an emphasis on collaboration and knowledge-sharing among lab members.
  • Participate in lab meetings and one-on-one discussions to advance project goals and receive feedback.
  • Seek opportunities for further training and establish expertise in relevant project areas.
  • Aim to build a long-term academic career through mentorship and collaboration.
