Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants must possess:

  • A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with microwave/RF measurements
  • Strong publication record in relevant research areas
  • Ability to independently design experiments, troubleshoot complex measurement systems, analyze data, and publish research findings

Preferred expertise includes:

  • Microwave, RF, mm-wave, or sub-THz measurements
  • S-parameter characterization
  • Calibration and de-embedding techniques
  • RF test structures and interconnects
  • Parasitic and feedthrough mitigation
  • Acoustic, electromechanical, MEMS/NEMS, or piezoelectric devices

Additional desirable skills:

Job Description

The selected postdoctoral researcher(s) will conduct experimental research on advanced high-frequency acoustic, electromechanical, and wave-based devices. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing microwave/RF experiments
  • Developing and optimizing measurement setups
  • Performing S-parameter characterization and calibration
  • Analyzing high-frequency measurement data
  • Troubleshooting and improving RF systems
  • Collaborating on device development and testing
  • Publishing research findings in high-impact journals and conferences
  • Contributing to innovative research in acoustic and electromechanical device technologies
