Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in immunology or a related field
  • Strong background in mucosal/barrier immunology and T cell biology
  • Hands-on experience in high-parameter flow cytometry and in vivo models
  • Desirable: Experience in advanced imaging and/or bioinformatics

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead a project focused on T cell responses against commensal fungi.
  • Delineate mechanisms underlying protective Th17 immune induction and maintenance in the oral mucosa using murine models of persistent Candida albicans colonization.
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment bridging immunology and microbiology.
  • Contribute to securing research funding and mentor less experienced group members.
