Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in immunology or a related field
- Strong background in mucosal/barrier immunology and T cell biology
- Hands-on experience in high-parameter flow cytometry and in vivo models
- Desirable: Experience in advanced imaging and/or bioinformatics
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Lead a project focused on T cell responses against commensal fungi.
- Delineate mechanisms underlying protective Th17 immune induction and maintenance in the oral mucosa using murine models of persistent Candida albicans colonization.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment bridging immunology and microbiology.
- Contribute to securing research funding and mentor less experienced group members.
