Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Experience in low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy (mandatory).
- Experience in tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy and preparing 2D heterostructures.
- Strong record of research demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific conferences.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Conduct experimental research in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) cryogenic STM for characterization and MBE for the growth of low-dimensional materials and interfaces.
- Manage and operate state-of-the-art scanning probe microscopes.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation.
- Engage in collaborative research that advances understanding of quantum materials.
- Present research findings and publish in peer-reviewed journals in a timely manner.
