🎓 Eligibility / Qualification
- Essential:
- BSc and PhD in Biology, Biomedicine, or closely related fields.
- Documented experience in molecular/cellular biology techniques.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level).
- Preferred:
- Research experience in neurobiology and aging.
- Hands-on work with C. elegans genetics.
- Expertise in modern imaging techniques (confocal/super-resolution microscopy).
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
🧪 Job Description
The researcher will perform RNAi-mediated gene knockdowns in wild-type and transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans strains expressing disease-related human genes. This will involve:
- Evaluating resulting cellular and intracellular changes.
- Employing molecular and cellular biology methods.
- Applying advanced microscopy techniques.
