Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in life sciences (bioengineering, biomedical sciences, genomics or equivalent)
- Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with method development and single-cell (multi-)omics
- In-depth knowledge of molecular biology techniques and next-generation sequencing methodologies
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will drive the development of innovative single-cell multi-omics methods, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to technology innovation, data analysis, and publication.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and develop novel single-cell (multi-)omics technologies
- Troubleshoot and optimize protocols for quality and reliability
- Execute experiments and analyze data using high-throughput sequencing methodologies
- Collaborate on grant applications and project milestones
- Foster relationships with interdisciplinary research groups
- Report progress, publish scientific articles, and present at conferences
