Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in life sciences (bioengineering, biomedical sciences, genomics or equivalent)
  • Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience with method development and single-cell (multi-)omics
  • In-depth knowledge of molecular biology techniques and next-generation sequencing methodologies
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus

Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will drive the development of innovative single-cell multi-omics methods, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to technology innovation, data analysis, and publication.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop novel single-cell (multi-)omics technologies
  • Troubleshoot and optimize protocols for quality and reliability
  • Execute experiments and analyze data using high-throughput sequencing methodologies
  • Collaborate on grant applications and project milestones
  • Foster relationships with interdisciplinary research groups
  • Report progress, publish scientific articles, and present at conferences
