Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Adsorption/Materials Science, or a related field in Science and Engineering.
  • Strong academic track record.
  • Expertise in IR spectroscopy and characterization of zeolites, MOFs, or other microporous materials.
  • Proficiency in adsorption measurements on microporous adsorbents.
  • Interest and experience in measuring and analyzing diffusion phenomena is a plus.
  • Capability in developing measurement setups involving gases and vapors is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.

Job Description:
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting advanced multicomponent adsorption experiments using innovative methodologies.
  2. Investigating adsorption kinetics and diffusivity of molecules within adsorbents.
  3. Collecting and analyzing multicomponent diffusion data for enhancing process design.
  4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to leverage complementary expertise in materials synthesis, gas adsorption, and the characterization of porous materials.
  5. Contributing to the ERC project ‘KISSIES’ and participating in all project meetings.
