Eligibility/Qualification

  • A completed doctoral degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on organic electronics.
  • Priority is given to candidates who completed their doctoral degree no later than three years prior to the application.
  • Experience in advanced spectroscopy, electrochemical measurements (cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry), and development of emissive organic semiconductors and light-emitting devices.
  • Strong skills in written and spoken English.
  • A proven track record of early career achievements, including scientific publications.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Researcher will engage in the development of light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs), a promising technology due to its lightweight, flexible, and sustainable design. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Investigation of exciton dynamics in electrochemically formed p-i-n junctions within LECs.
  • Establishing design guidelines for LECs with enhanced emission performance.
  • Collaborating with internal group members and external academic and industry partners.
  • Utilizing advanced spectroscopy and electrochemistry techniques alongside device design and development.

The role is linked to the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE), which fosters extensive research collaboration across leading Swedish universities.
