Postdoctoral Researcher in Organometallic Chemistry: The University of Zurich invites applications for a 1-year Postdoctoral Researcher position in the field of organometallic chemistry, with a potential extension for an additional year. This role, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNFS), offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge research under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Nevado and Dr. Jaime Martin. The project focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and catalytic applications of novel gold(III) complexes, a rapidly advancing area with implications in material science and antitumoral research.
Designation:
Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area:
Organometallic Chemistry, focusing on gold(III) complexes and catalysis
Location:
University of Zurich, Switzerland
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry with a solid background in organic, inorganic, and organometallic chemistry.
- Expertise in inert atmosphere techniques (e.g., glovebox, vacuum line, Schlenk techniques).
- Proficient in characterization methods including NMR, IR, UV-Vis, and MS.
- Experience in synthesizing and characterizing sensitive organometallic complexes.
