Research Area & Project Description

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze results from complex reaction mechanistic experiments.
- Apply analytical techniques to monitor chemical reactions in real-time.
- Produce high-impact research papers, reports, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate effectively with AstraZeneca’s Global Chemical Development team and participate in project planning meetings.
- Contribute to general laboratory operations, mentoring, and administrative initiatives within the group.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
- A completed PhD degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- A solid background in organic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, or catalysis.
- Hands-on expertise in reaction monitoring techniques such as NMR, IR, HPLC, and GC.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
