Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Minimum Education Level: PhD
  • Field of Education: Biological Sciences, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or related fields
  • Experience: Expertise in protein biochemistry, semi-preparative protein purification, and biochemical characterization methods. Prior experience in plant biochemistry and metal metabolism is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Proficiency in English, good communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Biochemically characterize proteins that bind trace metals and analyze their functions.
  • Use techniques such as metalloproteomic analysis, HPLC-DAD/ICP-MS, and administer various biochemical assays.
  • Engage in investigations of plant responses to environmental stressors, particularly related to trace metal metabolism.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, involving imaging measurements and metabolomics.
