Eligibility/Qualification:
- Minimum Education Level: PhD
- Field of Education: Biological Sciences, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or related fields
- Experience: Expertise in protein biochemistry, semi-preparative protein purification, and biochemical characterization methods. Prior experience in plant biochemistry and metal metabolism is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Skills: Proficiency in English, good communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Biochemically characterize proteins that bind trace metals and analyze their functions.
- Use techniques such as metalloproteomic analysis, HPLC-DAD/ICP-MS, and administer various biochemical assays.
- Engage in investigations of plant responses to environmental stressors, particularly related to trace metal metabolism.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, involving imaging measurements and metabolomics.
