Postdoctoral Researcher in Plant Molecular: The Cellular and Plant Physiology Laboratory at the University of Grenoble is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher for a 24-month fixed-term position in the field of plant molecular and developmental epigenetics. The successful candidate will work on the ChromSwitch project, funded by ANR, focusing on the study of a factor releasing Polycomb PRC2-mediated chromatin repression of developmental genes in plants. The researcher will contribute to characterizing this factor’s molecular features, as well as understanding its interaction and opposing mechanism with PRC2.

Salary: Between €2,905.76 and €4,081.77 gross/month, depending on experience

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in genetics, epigenetics, molecular biology, or related field (Niveau 8 – Doctorat)
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in English

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Researcher in Plant Molecular and Developmental Epigenetics (M/W)

The postdoctoral researcher will work on the ChromSwitch project, collaborating with the ChromDev team at the Cellular and Plant Physiology Laboratory. Activities include genome-wide profiling of epigenetic marks and proteins, in vitro protein-DNA interaction analyses, in vivo functional assays, and interactomics. The researcher will be involved in presenting data at team meetings, seminars, and participating in the analysis of scientific articles related to the research.
