Job Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct a phylogenomic study in Vernonieae to resolve evolutionary relationships
- Collect and analyze morphological trait data
- Contribute to taxonomic priorities for Vernonieae in the Eastern Hemisphere
- Assist in herbaria specimen curation and data sharing
- Engage in science outreach and publication of research findings
- Supervise and mentor students
- Participate in planning public events and exhibits
