Postdoctoral Researcher in Population Genomics: The University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Population Genomics to join the research group of Ida Moltke. The candidate will work on an exciting population genomics project focusing on Greenlandic land mammals and gain insights into genetic adaptation and demographic history.

Qualifications:
- PhD in population genetics/genomics, bioinformatics, or a similar quantitative field
- Strong interest and background in population genomics
- Proficiency in at least one common programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python, or R) and experience in working with Linux/Unix and command lines
- Experience in working with genetic data, particularly high-throughput whole genome DNA sequencing data
- Ability to conduct high-quality research independently and in collaboration
- Effective communication skills, with a track record of publishing high-quality international peer-reviewed articles
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Job Description: The postdoc will engage in research within population genomics and teaching activities. The role involves analysis of whole genome datasets related to Greenlandic land mammals and collaborating with the research group and project partners. The position is open for a 2-year tenure starting from December 1, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
