Postdoctoral Researcher in Population Modelling: A postdoctoral researcher position is available in Dr. Daniel Reuman’s lab at the University of Kansas. This role focuses on computational and statistical analysis of ecological data to enhance understanding of climatic variability’s impact on species geographic ranges and integrating demography and climatic variability into species distribution models. The position offers at least three years of full funding with an expected annual salary range of $58,000-$65,000 and competitive benefits.
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: Population Modelling, Ecological Data Analysis, Species Distribution Modelling, Climatic Variability

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or ABD in a related field.
- Background in biological, physical, computational, or mathematical sciences.
- Demonstrable interest and skills in ecological modelling and related areas.
- Expertise in scientific software development in R, Bayesian statistics, species distribution modelling, and stochastic demography is a plus.
- Experience with the Stan programming language is welcomed.
- Use of high-performance computing clusters is required.
Job Description:
- Conduct computational and statistical analysis of ecological data and models.
