Eligibility/Qualification

  • Recent doctorate (max. 5 years prior to application) in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
  • Experience in multi-step synthesis of conjugated molecules and/or polymers.
  • Proficiency in chemical characterization techniques (e.g., NMR spectroscopy, gas/liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry).
  • Expertise in molecular modelling, electrochemistry, optical spectroscopy, or EPR spectroscopy is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of optoelectronic device applications and related phenomena.
  • Strong publication history and communication skills in English.

Job Description

The position involves:

  • Designing and synthesizing organic semiconductors.
  • Conducting chemical characterization.
  • Engaging in electrochemistry and optical spectroscopy studies.
  • Developing independent research ideas and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Collaborating with in-house and external research groups to enhance material design for various applications.
