Eligibility/Qualification
- Recent doctorate (max. 5 years prior to application) in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
- Experience in multi-step synthesis of conjugated molecules and/or polymers.
- Proficiency in chemical characterization techniques (e.g., NMR spectroscopy, gas/liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry).
- Expertise in molecular modelling, electrochemistry, optical spectroscopy, or EPR spectroscopy is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of optoelectronic device applications and related phenomena.
- Strong publication history and communication skills in English.
Job Description
The position involves:
- Designing and synthesizing organic semiconductors.
- Conducting chemical characterization.
- Engaging in electrochemistry and optical spectroscopy studies.
- Developing independent research ideas and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Collaborating with in-house and external research groups to enhance material design for various applications.
