Eligibility/Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Strong experience in micro-/nanofabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in patch-clamp amplifier measurement for nanopore resistive pulse sensing.
- Experience in plasmonic or SERS sensing is a plus.
- Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will focus on:
- Fabrication and characterization of plasmonic nanopores on glass nanopipettes.
- Measurement of ion currents and Raman spectroscopy of biomolecules (DNA, peptides, proteins) within the nanopores.
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team for the project “Plasmonic nanopore technologies for automatic manipulation and Raman spectroscopic sequencing of single proteins (RamanProSeq)”.
- Engaging in teaching activities, comprising up to 10% of work time.
