Job Description:
The successful candidate will explore electron transfer processes within photosynthesis, particularly the behavior of exoelectrogenesis—where cells release electrons into their environment upon light exposure. This research promises significant advancements in renewable energy and sustainability. The position is supported by a grant from the Finnish Cultural Foundation and is part of the GreenSol project, which aims to develop photosynthetic power generation technologies. The role is for a duration of 2.5 years with a fixed annual salary of €32,000. The grant is tax-exempt up to €26,269.46, with approximately 15% reserved for statutory insurance premiums.
