Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctorate (PhD) in Biochemistry or Chemobiology.
  • Experience in biochemical analysis and data analysis (Python preferred).
  • Skills in molecular modeling are appreciated but not essential.
  • Proven scientific skills, motivation for tackling complex technical and scientific problems, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will join the ā€œChemistry and Modeling for Cancer Biologyā€ laboratory at the Institut Curie. The project will involve:

  • Characterizing the structural features of snoRNAs using biochemical and nanopore sequencing techniques.
  • Conducting in vitro and in cellulo experiments.
  • Structural modeling and bioinformatics alongside interdisciplinary collaborations.
  • Preparing scientific samples and data analysis for sequencing.
  • Presenting results at international conferences and contributing to scientific publications.
