Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Documented experience with deep learning techniques (e.g., CNNs, Transformers).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience in working with time-series data.
- Good understanding of IoT and wireless communication networks.
- Strong publication record relative to career stage.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience with explainable AI methods and collaborative, cross-cultural research environments is a plus.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research on semantic representation and reasoning for time-series data.
- Designing and implementing Edge AI for real-time analytics and decision-making.
- Developing energy-efficient, low-latency communication strategies.
- Publishing high-impact research and participating in outreach activities.
- Engaging in the NUEI (Nordic University Collaboration on Edge Intelligence) project.
- Opportunities to co-supervise bachelor’s and master’s thesis projects.
