Eligibility / Qualification:
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field (specialization in radio localization, radar, sensing, signal processing, or machine learning).
- Have completed their PhD no more than three years prior to the application deadline*.
- Possess strong mathematical skills in optimization and algorithm development.
- Have a track record of peer-reviewed publications (e.g., IEEE Transactions).
- Be fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Show interest in interdisciplinary and industry-connected research.
*Exceptions to the 3-year limit are considered for parental leave, sick leave, or military service.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct and lead research activities and produce scientific publications.
- Collaborate with industry partners, present results, and contribute to reports and deliverables.
- Coordinate tasks within ongoing research projects.
- Support supervision of PhD students and postdocs.
- Contribute to project management and proposal writing.
The position includes both theoretical and applied research and is part of the Communication Systems (CS) group at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Division of Communications, Antennas, and Optical Networks (CAOS).
